of creative skills of children which help them in building

passionately believe that Kendriya Vidyalaya family is

Education
is an awakening of the physical, mental & spiritual faculties
of a human being. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan with its impeccable
record has provided its students an education which has enabled
them to develop their innate qualities. K.V. SAC Ahmedabad
is one of the prime school in our region which has shown the
right spirit of the ideals and principles of the family. Moulding
high valued future citizens should be the aim of any institution.
And the paramount importance which KV SAC Ahmedabad attaches
to value addition stands towering and of course it is upwardly

Vidyalaya website reflects the creative talents of its children, their achievements and the various activities conducted during the whole session.

Chairman of the Vidyalaya. Since that time KV (SAC) has tread to the path of progress & achievement. It boasts of having Classes from Pre-primary to Xllth Std. with an enrol ment of 650 students. It caters to the all round development of the students besides providing quality education. Vidyalaya gives due place to co-curricular activities as Cultural, Literary, Physical, Social for grooming the entire personality of the child.
Vidyalaya has a serene campus with well equipped Science Labs, Computer Lab, Primary resource centre and Audio - Visual Room well equipped with latest technology of OHP, LCD, VCD, Computers etc.
Vidyalaya has a rich library with around 9600 books, various periodicals & references covering all the subjects.
One of the main objectives of education over the years has been to empower the learners to sail in fresh water - to be innovative, creative, adventures & enterprising.
For the all round development of the children of our Vidyalaya, we not only encourage students to do well academically, but also to take part in various sports and skill activities, for which specialists are appointed by the school. Students are taken to different parts of the country as part of their Trekking and Adventure activities for a healthy mind rests in a healthy body. Due importance is given to indoor & outdoor games in order to provide proper grooming of the child. There are regular weekly block periods assigned in the time table for each class for games. Apart from games, students are also provided physical training every Wednesday in the mass PT Period.
For Cultural & Sports activities, children are divided into four houses. There are regular inter house competitions. An annual calendar schedule has been made for various literary competitions as debates, extempore, elocution, quiz, dance, group song etc. Inter school & regional competitions are organized. Many a times school is a venue for such competitions.
There is a provision for hobby classes as handicraft, drawing dance, martial arts, yoga, Spoken English etc. depending upon the aptitude and interest of the students. They are properly grouped and trained through professional experts & coaches.
All the national days and festivals are celebrated with gaiety in order to develop the feeling of national integration among the students. The,annual sports day was celebrated with much enthusi asm. Vidyalaya has scout & guide activities for which training is provided at school and regional level through various camps.
Children of the Vidyalaya participate every year in Science & Social Science Exhibition held at regional & national levels.
School also tries to provide guidance & counselling to the students in the various fields through experts from various outside agencies. Last year the counselling sessions involved value education, Memory retention, career counselling. School also organizes various Picnics / Tours & adventure activities. Last year our students went to Manali, Shimla, Kharaapathar & Sangla in Himachal Pradesh. At local level, tours relating to Disaster Management (fire control) was organized with the help of Unnati and NGO. Visit to Doordarshan Kendra, factories like Amul Dairy etc. were also organized.
Regular Medical Check up of students is done by the School at the expense of the Vidyalaya. This year our school was also entrusted with the task of organizing workshop for Social Studies teachers of Gujarat Region & One day orientation programme for Principals & later a 4 day workshop for teachers on "Population Education through life skill approach". A UNO Project taken up by CBSE in which around 80 teachers, 10 principals & various experts participated.
The School was also the centre for AISSCE/AISSE, CBSE Exams, All India PMT CBSE Exam, AIEEE, AICRMT, NSCE - Science Examinations. Vidyalaya gives due importance to national language and celebrates Hindi Maha involving various cultural activities. One of our teacher Smt. R. Bharadwaj won the Hindi Essay Writing Competition & received cash prize and a merit certificate.
Last but not the least we thank Shri V.K.GARG, Chairman KV(SAC) because of whose vision and co-operation we could achieve this success.
