The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan was established as an autonomous body under ministry of human resource development in 1965 and entrusted the task establishing and running Kendriya Vidyalayas. |

K.V. SAC, Vastrapur was established in August 1980 as a project school under the patronage of D.O.S for imparting education to the children. |
